Good News - Email subscription to the blog

warning - technical post ahead ;-)

well, many of you asked me if there is a way you can subscribe to the blog and get email when we publish a new post. unfortunatelly, the way i understand it, bolgger (this site) doesn't support direct email subscribtion.

why is that? because they support ATOM, which is their version of RSS, and they want everyone to use it instead of email. don't know RSS? nevermind, it's only a buzzword. that's the good news. anyway, the thing is you can still get email using a service that reads RSS and converts it to email.

SO, what do you need to do? it's as simple as 1-2-3! ;-)
1. go to the site http://www.rssfwd.com/
2. in the main page, in the text box in the middle, enter this address: http://metaylim.blogspot.com/atom.xml and click submit.
3. now you will be asked to enter your email address. fill your email address and uncheck the checkbox right under it that says "Share at "popular feeds" page". then, click submit.

that's it, you're done. you will now receive updates when we publish new posts. you will get the entire text we write right to your email inbox (no pics), and you'll also get the link to the new post on the blog page. just keep in mind that the site only checks our blog every hour or so, so if we post twice within one hour (very rare) you'll only see one notification.
